Game Day

We are committed to the health & safety of our guests, athletes, and team members. These are our key priorities as we welcome you back inside the ICE Cave. We are working closely with Manitoba Public Health officials and our facility partners to implement safety measures for both staff and fans to make your game day experience both enjoyable and safe.

From purchasing tickets and entering the ICE Cave to buying concessions and getting to your seat, please read below to make your game day experience safe and enjoyable.

Based on the current trends we are excited to welcome fans back for the 2021-22 season.  We expect fans to be loud, the games to be exciting, to enjoy the dance cam and are planning a number of gameday enhancements to continue to provide a fun and engaging experience.  We will do this in a safe manner by adhering to the policies below:

Proof of full vaccination and verification of photo identification will be required to attend Regular season games at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena will also require proof of full vaccination and verification of photo identification.

Children under 12 years of age will be permitted to attend provided they attend with a fully vaccinated adult.

We are monitoring this closely and continue to be in regular contact with our facility partners in addition to regular review of the public health orders and recommendations.   At this time masks will be mandated for pre-season and regular season games.

At this time masks will be mandated for the Training Camp Showcase Game presented by Hilton Garden Inn Winnipeg South.

The Winnipeg ICE are committed to providing a safe environment for all patrons.  Please review other measures that have been taken by the Western Hockey League, the Winnipeg ICE and our facility partners below:

Increased hand sanitizing stations throughout the venues

Cashless transactions are available at points of purchase including in-seat options at ICE Regular Season Games at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena.

Contactless security screening upon entry;

Employees will receive additional training on recommended safety measures to assist with patrons.

All Winnipeg ICE players and staff will be fully vaccinated and subject to additional screening measures.

The process to enter the ICE Cave has changed this year. In addition to scanning your mobile ticket, we will scan and validate your Manitoba Immunization Card (physical or digital card) or valid proof of immunization and verify photo ID to enter the facility. Please arrive early!
