WINNIPEG ICE SIGN FORWARD EVAN FRIESEN TO WHL STANDARD PLAYER AGREEMENT

 

Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg ICE Hockey Club announced today that they have signed 2004-born forward Evan Friesen to a WHL Standard Player Agreement. 

Friesen, a Winnipeg born forward most recently played for the Winnipeg Blues in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) where he scored three goals and added two assists in just six games played during his rookie season. Friesen was added to the ICE 50 player protected list at the start of the 2020-2021 season. 

“Evan has continued to develop all aspects of his game over the last number of seasons.” said Jake Heisinger ICE Assistant General Manager. “He is an extremely hard worker on and off the ice and will be a great addition to our team in the future.”
