The Winnipeg ICE face the Moose Jaw Warriors for the first time in the 2019-2020 campaign on November 8th. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. CT.
Tonight’s game will be the first of six meetings between these two clubs in the 2019-2020 season. The ICE are 3-2-0-0 in their last five outings, with a 5-3 win over the Red Deer Rebels on Wednesday night. As for Moose Jaw, they will look to bounce back after falling 5-1 at home to Prince Albert on November 2nd, now 1-1-0-0 mid-way through their four-game home stand.
Following tonight’s contest, the ICE return home to host the Regina Pats on Saturday night, November 9th, before leaving on a seven-game road trip that starts in Brandon on November 11th. Moose Jaw will end off their four-game home stand with a game tomorrow night, November 9th, against the visiting Swift Current Broncos who have now lost four in a row, scoring only two goals over those four games.

LAST GAME – 5-3 WIN VS RED DEER: The Winnipeg ICE picked up their second win in a row at home on Wednesday night, November 6th, with a 5-3 win against the visiting Red Deer Rebels. The first meeting between these two teams did not disappoint, with goals from Rebel’s Davis and Wiebe to tie the game at three early in the third. Michal Teply, who was presented with the ICE Player of the Month award for October prior to puck drop, scored his sixth of the season mid-way through the third which would later become the winner. Dean McNabb stopped 24-of-27 shots to earn his second straight victory in net for the ICE. Ginnell contributed two goals in the win, giving him a team-leading seven on the year.
