NEWS | ICE Acquire Defenceman Jaren Brinson

The Winnipeg ICE have acquired defenceman Jaren Brinson from the Prince George Cougars in exchange for a fourth round pick in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft.

Brinson, 18,  from Airdrie, Alberta, registered two goals, five assists and 23 penalty minutes in 52 games with the Cougars last season. Over the past two seasons, the 6’2”, 175 pound defenceman has played 72 WHL regular season games & 4 WHL Playoff Games. 

Drafted by the Prince George Cougars 36th overall in the second round of the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft, the left handed defenceman is entering his third WHL season.
