TRANSACTION | ICE acquire 2025 3rd round pick

The Winnipeg ICE have acquired a third round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft from the Swift Current Broncos in exchange for goaltender Gage Alexander.

Alexander, 20, from Okotoks, AB has played a total of 45 regular season WHL games over the last three seasons. The ICE selected Alexander in the 7th round, 133rd overall in the 2017 WHL Prospects Draft.

The 6’6 goaltender was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the 5th round, 148th overall in the 2021 NHL Draft.

The ICE would like to thank Gage for his contributions on and off the ice.
