ICE sign 2005 born goaltender Dawson Cowan

The Winnipeg ICE are excited to announce the signing of 2005 born Goaltender Dawson Cowan to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

The Warren, Manitoba product, who will turn 16 years old September 28th, played two games last season for the Interlake Lightning in the Manitoba Under 18 AAA Hockey League posting a 2-0 record, 2.09 goals against average and .948 save percentage.

“Dawson is a goalie who we have had our eye on for a while now,said Jake Heisinger, ICE Vice President, Hockey Operations & Assistant General Manager.  “He is an extremely hard working individual who we are excited to watch develop this season under the guidance of Taras McEwen and the rest of his staff playing for the MJHL’s Winnipeg Blues.”
