ICE beat Wheat Kings 5-4

Sequoia Swan and Karter Prosofsky scored 32 seconds apart in the third period as the Winnipeg ICE erased a 4-3 deficit to beat the Brandon Wheat Kings 5-4 in WHL preseason action Thursday night at the Keystone Centre.

Skyler Bruce, Zach Benson and Conor Geekie also scored, while Daniel Hauser made 10 of 14 saves.  Geekie led all players in the game with 6 shots on goal as Winnipeg out shot Brandon 36-14.

Nolan Ritchie replied with two goals for the Wheat Kings, singles came from Riley Ginnell and Nate Danielson.  Carson Bjarnason and Nicholas Jones split the goaltending duties each playing 29:20.  Bjarnason stopped 14 of 16 shots, while Jones turned aside 17 of 20.

The two teams close out the preseason schedule Saturday night, 7:00 at The RINK Training Centre.
