ICE acquire forward Josh Medernach & 2023 third round draft pick from Red Deer

The Winnipeg ICE have acquired forward Josh Medernach and a third round pick in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft from the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for defenceman Tanner Brown and a seventh round pick in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft.

Medernach, 19, from Lloydminster, Alberta, registered one assist and four penalty minutes in nine games with the Rebels last season. Over the past three seasons, the 6’0”, 183 pound centre has played 29 WHL regular season games.
